Intentionally woven, it unfolds as a vast and spacious soundscape existing between worlds, between waking and dreaming, life and death, presence and release. This hour-long meditative journey is infused with Hemi-Sync® frequencies and the healing resonance of Tibetan singing bowls, renowned for their powerful capacity to realign energy and foster deeper stillness.

Created for his beloved mother-in-law, Amina Donna, Luminous Bardo was born during a time of profound transition. As Amina faced the final stages of her life with cancer, she found that the sound sessions with Dashmesh offered her a rare and peaceful clarity—one that no other modality could bring. The tones helped her body soften and her awareness expand, allowing her to be truly present during her final days. What began as a personal act of care evolved into a spiritual composition—an hour of uninterrupted sound designed to hold space for healing, grieving, resting, or simply being. Played during Amina’s final retreat, this recording became a source of comfort not only for her, but for those around her as well.

Dashmesh is a musician, producer, and philosopher who has worked with internationally renowned artists Bill Laswell, Byron Metcalf, Steve Roach, Toshinori Kondo, along with many others.
Dashmesh has studied music traditions from around the world such as Indian Tabla, Australian aboriginal Didgeridoo, Japanese Taiko drumming, and West African Djembe. He has blended styles of music including tribal, electronica, ambient, hip-hop, and jazz, thus defying traditional notions of discreet genres and styles.
Dash's music is informed by the need to create a healthy relationship between technology and nature, unite the ancient with the modern and bridge the difference between cultures to create more harmony where it may not have existed otherwise.
