David Darling
Maverick cellist David Darling, and an impressive cast of musicians, deliver his exquisite compositions deftly combine New Age, Jazz, and World Music. Performances on acoustic and electric cello, piano, flutes, bass clarinet, marimba, guitars, and layered world percussion possess David’s unique flare for spontaneous creativity and improvisation.
Eight of the tracks are edited selections (between five to seven minutes each) of pieces Darling composed for Balance and Intune, reflective instrumentals that originally ran 15-plus minutes.
