Giesemann, Suzanne

Giesemann, Suzanne

Suzanne Giesemann is a Messenger of Hope and the founder and teacher of The Awakened Way ℠ - a path to knowing who you are and why you’re here. She is a former U.S. Navy Commander who served as a commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 9/11. Today Suzanne provides stunning evidence of the existence of Universal Consciousness and our interconnectedness.

Suzanne is the author of 13 books. She has been a keynote presenter for organizations including Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment, the Academy for Spiritual and Consciousness Studies, the Afterlife Research and Education Institute, and the International Association for Near-Death Studies.

She has led weekend retreats at well-known spiritual centers including Omega Institute, Lily Dale Assembly, The Monroe Institute and Unity Village. She has written and narrated the popular “Mediumship” series of Hemi-Sync recordings. Suzanne’s gift of evidential mediumship has been tested and verified. Her work has been recognized as highly credible by noted afterlife researchers and organizations.

Whether in her books and CDs, her classes and workshops, her “Messages of Hope” Unity Online Radio show, or her one-on-one sessions, Suzanne brings messages of hope, healing, and love that go straight to the heart and illuminate the light of self-awareness within.

Education and Experience Suzanne has a Bachelor’s Degree in foreign languages and speaks fluent Spanish. She earned a Master’s Degree in National Security Affairs. In addition to her command tour and duties as special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, and ultimately as aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, she served tours in naval intelligence, taught political science at the U.S. Naval Academy, and was a plans and policy officer for the U.S. Southern Command. Her overseas assignments were in Panama and Japan. Her military decorations include the Combat Action Ribbon and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

Spiritual The tragic death of Suzanne’s step-daughter, Susan, a sergeant in the Marine Corps who was struck and killed by lightning along with her unborn son, propelled Suzanne in a new direction in search of life’s deepest truths. When she first began researching and writing the Hay House published book, The Priest and the Medium, she never dreamed that she would one day connect with the unseen world herself.

After years of meditation, she began to have intuitive experiences, which led her to several classes on mediumship and to an intensive course at the respected Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. Her eye-opening experiences there allowed her to develop her contact with the unseen world to the point where she now gives private readings, connecting people with their loved ones who have passed. Her experiences with inspirational writing and inspired poetry are published daily on her blog, The Daily Way, as well as her Facebook page.

Personal Suzanne has been happily married to her soulmate, Ty, a retired U.S. Navy Captain, since June of 1996. They enjoy an active life of travel with their two long-haired dachshunds, Rusty and Nellie, with their little dachshund Gretchen following along from the spirit world. Always seeking balance between work and play, they spend much time in nature hiking and bicycling.

Ty married a naval officer and not a medium, yet because of the irrefutable evidence that Suzanne is able to discern in her communication across the veil, he is fully convinced of the existence of the greater reality. Their unique relationship is chronicled in the video What Does Love Look Like?, which can be seen in the video section of her website. With humor, insightful writing, and stunning photography, Ty chronicles their travels and adventures in his blog, www.LifeAsTySeesIt.com.

The story of Suzanne’s transition from Navy Commander to her current work as a medium is chronicled in her memoir, Messages of Hope, which is featured in a documentary by the same name. Her book Wolf’s Message provides stunning proof of the continuity of consciousness.
