When I download a CD to my computer, the media player displays a different title.

Most media players first access an online database (which may or may not have the latest or correct information) to identify the contents of a CD. You may be able to adjust your media player’s settings to pull the information from the CD instead of the online database. Since 2006 Monroe Products has digitally encoded our CDs with artist, title and copyright information, but we have little to no input on how online databases are managed.
