Embracing Your Individuality
Dear Explorer,
Any musician will tell you that there is something special about playing music. Even for those of us who aren’t especially skilled or talented, once I learn how to play a song that I love on the guitar and sing over it, occasionally hitting the correct note while my fingers fly across the fretboard as they make rough approximations of the chords, there is nothing else quite like it. In becoming the rhythm and harmony, there is a sense of being the source of it, but also of being one with something that exists independently of me and is shared with others.
It’s the same experience with Hemi-Sync®. An individual will have a moving experience, share it with another who might offer confirmation, and gradually it spreads to more and more people as eventually the experience is named as an album, or perhaps a Focus level.
Once again borrowing from the song analogy, we might all play from the same sheet of music, but each of us will produce a rendition that is uniquely our own. The same thing occurs when we listen to the same Hemi-Sync® exercise. We can generally agree on the locale we have all experienced, but the qualities and modes of experience will vary based on our own individual identity.
New Releases
With this in mind, we would like to share Midnight Sun, our newest release, with you. This exercise, which is equal parts OBE technique, shamanic journey and eastern mysticism was originally conceived while I was listening to experimental carriers in our lab. The album represents my attempt at sharing the experience of leaving my body, venturing out into the familiar, then the adjacent realms, finally culminating in a peak experience. We kicked off the year with Heart of the Deep Time with Hemi-Sync®, a psychoactive sonic dreamscape that beckons the listener to explore the depths of the Primordial Source. This offering combines the steady pulse of shamanic drums and aboriginal percussion of the incomparable Byron Metcalf, the masterful didgeridoo of Dashmesh, and features the heart-centered synths of Frore (Paul Casper). Feel it call you to the Great Mystery and beyond as you explore infinite possibilities.
The Shaman Within is the creative offspring of Hemi-Sync® newcomer Jonathan Hammond, a certified Master Teacher in Shamanic Reiki, Usui and Karuna Reiki, as well as the Advanced Graduate Studies Advisor for Shamanic Reiki Worldwide. He teaches classes in shamanism, energy healing, spirituality and Huna at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Penn State University, and the One Spirit Learning Alliance in New York City. In March, the increasingly prolific Nimetu (Andrej Hrvatin) returned with Vortex with Hemi-Sync®. Explore your inner sun/fire, spacious mind, and open heart as you journey deep into vortexes of space, time and beyond. This album is ideal for expressive movement, dance, and different healing, mind expanding explorations. The frequencies will allow you to deeply immerse yourself in the larger mystery as you gain a higher perspective. Inspired by many different world music traditions, such as Turkish Sufi music, African polyrhythms, frame drumming and Mongolian throat singing, listeners may also retain a bit more of their edge by enjoying the Flying Man RecordsTM version of the album, entitled simply Vortex (contains no Hemi-Sync®).
Finally, Alan Tower returns with another album, this one entitled Sounds of the Unseen with Hemi-Sync®, which beckons you into nature’s matrix of vibration. This unique audio adventure, which also features David Bergeaud, was created using tuning forks to constitute the melodies and intersecting polyrhythms. An array of six forks, called Wands (designed by Alan Tower), is rooted in deep mathematical harmony and creates a true family of vibrations to resonate with your central nervous system in a deep way.

Online Courses
We are pleased to offer Our Incredible Journey, an online course created by William and Susan Buhlman. Many of you will know Bill as arguably the greatest living expert on Out-of-Body Experience, having authored multiple best-selling books on the subject, while his wife, Susan, is an end-of-life doula. Together, they offer a guided exploration of the multi-dimensional reality we all inhabit, assistance with accessing the higher aspects of ourselves, preparation for nonphysical transition and some thoughts on assisting others. In Case You Missed It
In addition to the aforementioned podcasts with William Buhlman and Jonathan Hammond, there are a couple other new voices to check-out. Russ Hudson is probably the world’s foremost expert on the Enneagram, having co-authored the definitive text on the subject, The Wisdom of the Enneagram, and serving as President Emeritus of the Enneagram Institute. While the Enneagram has come to the fore in recent years as a type of life-hacking or personality typing tool, Russ has been studying and teaching the material for decades and shares fascinating insights into just how deep the Enneagram goes (spoiler: very deep!)
Also, Dr. Jennifer Lisa Vest, who has a Hemi-Sync® album due out later this year, talks about the importance of ethics in working as a psychic here, including some ethical dilemmas she has personally witnessed or experienced, which may surprise you!
