Sverre Knut Johansen
Sverre Knut Johansen was born in 1960 and is from Mo i Rana, Norway. His first electronic album in 1994 and was produced by Erik Wøllo on the Norwegian label Origo Sound. In 1999, he released The Source of Energy, followed by Planets in 2012, and began distributing his music in 2013 on his own Origin Music label for download and streaming.
The music of Sverre has always had rich content and strong melodic elements that have become his trademark. Symphonic electronic music dominated the first releases, but his more recent releases vary widely in style, as he makes music that is both lyrical and rhythmic, and often with elements of classical and electronic ambient music genres.
Sverre is inspired by Norwegian artists Hvìtur Hestur and Different Directions from the electronic jazz world. Sverre’s releases Nightshift and Elements of Light were inspired by the work of Steve Roach.

I didn’t find that this track offered much in shaping my state of mind, but it is an enjoyable listen. If anything, it is engaging enough to keep me unfocused from my task. It’s almost like the track focuses me on the track. I’m glad it exists to help others though.
I have lots of material from the Monroe Institute and love them all. Elevations is one of my favorites because it really does improve my ability to focus and concentrate. I use it at work on days when I need to play catch up with accounting. I listen to it on my computer on repeat all day long and I find it to be tremendously helpful. Two thumbs up!
I have several metamusic mp3s and I love them all, but this one seems stronger somehow. The music is deep and luxurious. As far as being able to either concentrate or relax, the music helps me “get down to business” right away. I really love this one. I listen to it almost every day. Thank you!
Although I haven’t bought the CD/MP3 yet what I have heard on the sample is absolutely excellent. I love it.
