Carolyn Ball has been a leader in human growth and transformation for the past 25 years, since she first perceived mankind's innate tendency both to strive towards excellence and to fall back into past patterns. Born into a long lineage of educators, Ms. Ball's delight in sharing the process of transformation is evidenced in her warm, genuine, and wise teaching and counseling style, her books and her countless published articles and media interviews.

A counselor since 1987, Carolyn founded several non-profit corporations dedicated to modeling and teaching a systems approach to wellness in business and in personal life. Any true systems approach will include modalities that involve the body, mind, emotions and spirit in the healing process. Through her educational programs, she champions the principle that when the needs of all of these components are acknowledged and addressed, a win-win result can always be implemented. This is true whether that entity is an organization or an individual.

Carolyn Ball lives and has a private practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and corporate trainer. She has a column in two magazines and has been a guest on numerous radio and television programs. Her 20 years as a counselor for individuals and couples includes concentration on self-esteem, addictions, depression, anxiety, relationships, sexual abuse, and quality and purpose of life. Modalities include Internal Family Systems parts work, Hakomi Therapy, EMDR, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, hypnosis, and other traditional therapies.

Carolyn has a Masters Degree in psychology from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, where she graduated with the highest honors. Her Bachelor of Arts Degree was in art education. She has also studied and taught extensively in Eastern traditions of body-mind-spirit approaches to life, and has studied and sundanced in the Native American tradition.

Available for lectures, seminars, conference keynotes, retreats, and consulting, Carolyn offers insight and systems that are inspirational and experiential. An emphasis is placed on identifying goals, producing measurable results, and creating lasting change.

Ms. Ball is the author of three books:  Claiming Your Self-Esteem: A Guide Out of Codependency, Addictions, and Other Useless Habits, which offers techniques for empowering your life. Blessing in Disguise reveals ways to find balance in life’s challenges, told through experiences with Native American elders. Meher Baba’s Next Wave presents fourteen inspiring stories about discovering God.
