Digital Downloads

  • MP3 downloads are not refundable

Once you download your Hemi-Sync MP3, it’s a final transaction. Please order a CD instead if you are not sure about your selection, as our 100% money back policy applies only to physical product (CDs).

  • When I click the download button, nothing happens!

Typically if the file transfer didn’t initiate at all, it means that the dialogue box was blocked by your browser. Log into your account and try that download one more time. Keep an eye out for a pale orange/yellow bar at the top of the browser window (just below the address bar) that says “To protect your security (Internet Explorer, Google, Firefox, etc.) has blocked a pop up, click here for more options.”

Click that bar and you should have the option to “download file.” once you’ve selected to download the file, you’ll need to click the green download button once more to start the transfer.

  • Importing your albums/tracks into iTunes / Windows Media Player

In most media players you can import music by simply dragging and dropping the MP3s into your music library. As an example, you can open both iTunes and the folder where your music is stored. Select the files you want to transfer and drag them to the “Library” in iTunes. Alternatively, you can click “file.” If you’re having trouble, check your player’s help section for specific instructions about how to import audio.

  • Our digital products (MP3s) are now directly downloadable to an iPhone or iPad and some other devices

To download directly to your iPhone or iPad, simply click on the link(s) in your order, (or if doing it later, make sure you are signed into your account on the website, https://hemi-sync.com then click on your order and click on the track link). A screen will pop up that asks if you want to download the track; tap on Download. You will see a small down arrow on the top right showing you the download progress.

After it has completed downloading, you can either tap on the down arrow again and it will pop up to play. OR, after downloading – and to find them again – go to your iPhone or iPad screen and look for the blue folder app that says Files (it is on the bottom of most iPad screen and is just a blue folder). Tap on that and you will find your track(s) there in Downloads. You can then tap on them to play them. These will not go into your iTunes Music app, but you can play them on your device. Please be advised that FLAC files may need to be converted to a supported file format before they are playable.

  • Downloading Hemi-Sync® MP3 Files

We use the MP3 format, so our digital files will play on virtually any computer or audio device. Devices vary, so please refer to your own device manual from the manufacturer for instructions on how to get music onto your device.

Please note: If you simply click on the link and play it, that is streaming it. Our website is not setup for streaming, and you will experience skipping and looping after doing this a few times. You have to download and save the file to your computer or laptop, then add to music player where you can then add to your cloud service or sync with your device.

We also offer FLAC files on select titles. FLAC files are created using the Free Lossless Audio Codec to compress audio files while maintaining a better audio quality compared to MP3 compression, though all of our MP3s are 320 kbit/s bitrate sampled at 44.1 kHz. Playing FLAC files requires you to install a software or filter that supports the FLAC compression format. Nearly all popular media players should be able to play a FLAC file, they might just require a plugin or extension to be installed. Here is a good site for more information and helpful instructions: https://www.wikihow.com/Play-FLAC-Files

Due to these large files, we recommend only users with access to a broadband Internet connection purchase MP3 downloads. Download files average around 80MB to 150MB in size for single titles; multiple CD sets are typically around 160MB to 400MB, or more.

Downloads are immediately available after your payment is processed on your order confirmation page, as well as in your account under “Downloads.”

From here, you should see the album or tracks that you ordered. Click on the link to start the transfer and a dialog box will prompt you to select “Save” or “Open.” You will want to select “Save” and take note of the target location where your browser will save the file.

(Please note: selecting ‘Open’ will simply open the file in your default player, and may not be available to you after you have played it.)

Once the download starts, it’s important that it finishes in its entirety before attempting to open it. When the transfer is complete, you’ll need to find the files that you’ve just downloaded. In Windows, if you didn’t specify a location, most browsers will save files to the “Downloads” folder which you can find inside “My Documents.” For Mac, the default destination is the desktop. If the files aren’t in those default locations, you can find the target location from that dialogue box mentioned.

  • Compact Disc vs. MP3s

The frequencies on your downloads are every bit as effective as what is found on the CDs. The main difference is in the clarity of the music and/or verbal presentations.
